Question:

Automate Ebook Download After Customer Has Paid Via Paypal/Payloaz?

This involved Paypal and Payloadz.

I received this message by email from a customer today:

"I ordered your e-book but it said it was pending.

What was wrong?

thanks"

He had ordered an ebook and paid by paypal. I gave the payloadz download link on my site and have set up IPN on paypal and payloadz.

It seems the customer still had to wait until I had accepted payment from paypal until he received the link to download the ebook from payloadz.

Is is possible to have the payment accepted immediately so he can get the download link right after he has sent payment? I'd prefer not to have to check my paypal account and accept payment everyday.

Thanks

Steve

  1. It can depend on the way they paid. If they have money in their paypal account first and then made the payment it should go straight through, without the need to accept payments.

I sell ebooks on a couple of auction sites and sometimes on my own site and let people know that they will receive it within 12 hours of successful payment, has I don't have them uploaded to any kind of server and send them via email.

All payments that have been made to me have gone through straight away and I've never had to visit paypal to accept payment.

You could try asking paypal why you have to accept payments first, they do have a good customer service and will help you out.

    Hope that helps you out.
