Question:

Automatic Sleeve Knife?

Is there such a thing that, with a movement of the hand or arm, a knife pops out of your sleeve and into your hand? I've seen this in movies many times and I was just curious if the device actually existed or could somehow be improvised. PLEASE PLEASE do not waste time talking about how illegal it is, that would not be answering the question, I just want to know if this kind of thing exists or can be made.

  1. Yes, it exists. It is called a Xiphoid

  2. i think i seen one at a gun and knife show but i don't know if it worked or was just for show.

  3. Yes the device exists......for both knives and guns..... they work usually on a pressure trigger or gravity..........I do not like them.....they are uncomfortable, subject to mis-fire and bulky......I prefer a stiletto strapped to the inside of the left forearm handle down.... a small gerber works fine and has a snap to prevent accidents...... if the pat down is sloppy you can often get away with it

I also keep a handcuff key + single edge razor blade taped inside my belt at the back.....

Crotch guns and / or crotch knives are usually safe also......for some reasons men do not like to search that area
