Automatic Window Problem with 2007 Honda Civic

Question

When using automatic window shut on driver side, the window goes up almost to top then 'bumps' and moves back

I can still shut the window by using the manual button stepwise, not in one go. I went to Miller Honda with my 2007 Honda Civic and the mechanic told me that it's a new thing and normal.

Is it true? If not, does anyone know how to fix the problem? I took my car there three times already, but not fixed yet.... :-(

I've had this problem with both front windows. I've opened the doors' inside coevrs and adjusted the window grippers along with putting some lubricants on the rubber rails. The passenger window is completely fixed now but the driver window still has the problem with much less frequency though.
