Automatic locks problem - '02 Saturn?

Question

My '02 Saturn S series car is having problems with the locks. At first they fluttered up & down when I used the automatic door opener. So I started opening the door with the key. Now the car doesn't want to start. Like everyone else, I can't afford major repair bills now. I'm handy but not a mechanic. Any idea what's wrong & how much this will set me back? Thanks!

I am having the SAME exacxt issue with my 97 saturn...it just keeps making a noise on the door the locks sometimes lock and sometimes they dont.  I have been told its a problems with the actuator.  How do you tell which fuse would be blown?  I do not know anything about fuses.  THX
