  1. Depends on many variables. Engine size, options, miles, condition ect.  Still thewre is no way to predict as black book which is where dealers get price is a weekly auction report that tells what cars are going for.  Remember that if tahoe had rebate or cashback at time of purchase then that is when price starts not MSRP on maroney.  As for 3 series they range from 38 grand to over 100,000.  Which one?  you cannot rely on price and market when it comes to cars. one thing for sure is Toyota holds its value better then any other car in world with Prius being number 1 in world. Gm depreciates very fast no matter what vehicle and high end vehicles take a big hit also.  Have they been in accident, have salvage title, odemeter broken.  If any of these they drop like a rock in water.  Especially accident and odemeter will drop value to almost nothing.  A dealer will take a car without odemeter andwill not pay more then KBB poor value and then take 25% of that and get your price.  So with so mqany varibles and you not having enough info. you cannot tell anything except that in 1 month you cannot predict price.

  2. Yes. Those are vehicles that don't do very well on gas plus Bimmers require premium gas on top of that. Some dealers won't even take Tahoes, Escalades, or any other large SUV on a trade in.Noone's really buying them right now.  Look at how many H2s,Escalades, Tahoes, and Expeditions you see for sale in the Autotrader. Look again a month from now and you'll see most of the same ones for sale. I think that the 3 series will depreciate quite a bit as has prices rise. Say hello to your BMW in time for Christmas.

  3. The greatest amount of depreciation is in the first few months and then the first year.  After that the depreciation is slowed drastically.  The blue book changes you will get from now until November will be about $500 every other month when the book changes so about $1,500 or so.

I buy cars at the dealer auctions all the time and see the book changes as we go.

  4. autos normal drop the most in value in the first year, then drop at a slower rate there after.

so probly not, 5 -6 months this late in the year won't do much to the value!

  5. maybe but if i were u id check craigslist too cars are usually cheeper there

  6. the SUV's that you are talking about is because the high price of gas no one wants to buy them and put gas in them if you don't care you can do better than the advertised price
