Automotive problem????

Question

I have a 1999 crown victoria yesterday I was driving home from work and with the ac blowing it smelt like antifreeze was coming through the vents and what looked like white smoke (Im pretty sure it wasnt actual smoke) was visible coming from the vents as well.Can some on tell me what is going on I would realy appreciate it.

its your heter core my labor book says 8 hours  i charge $50 an hour the part is $30 to $80

that is really the only thing it could be  if its inside your car  sorry

heater core or hose to it sorry not so fun to replace... look under dash /glove box...  feel floor wet

you blew the heater and all the antifreeze in the heater is mixing with the air and presto the smell.

could be your thermostat or water pump

The heater core is leaking antifreeze into the ducts.Some people would try adding a coolant system stop leak additive from the auto parts store.I'm one of them.
