Would doctors be able to tell, after death, whether a victim of anaphylactic shock had used an epi-pen?

  1. If the person has not used epi pen in the past, and no needle mark is found in the thigh, look at the thumb. I know people who applied the wrong end to the thigh and ended up injecting themselves in the thumb.


  2. quite possibly.

    i dont know whether the epinephrine would still be found in the blood, but they may be able to find a puncture wound and surrounding bruising from the pen.
