When i hook up my mp3 player through my auxiliary jack in my car the sound is not great. It'll play on one side of my car but not the other or won't play at all. My mp3 has to be placed in a certain position with the wires in certain positions for some quality sound, its a pain. What can i do to help fix this issue i'm having???

  1. It sounds like you are using a Mono auxiliary cable. Look at the metal part of the jack. It probably only has one colored band(usually black) on it. You need a stereo aux. cable. It will have 2 colored bands on it.
