I have the card connected via optical cable to my reciever (HTPC) I switch my reciever to the channel designated for the Optical Outlet, yet I get no sound. The Spdif cable is not connected on the card because both of my drives are sata. I am thinking of going coaxial, but I fear I may have the same problem. Does the SPDIF not being connected cause my problem?
