Av # I can't find an old text book, but din't av's# used to be 6.0023*10^23?

I keep seeing 6.0022. did they change it.

  1. Avogadro's number = 6.0221415 × 1023

    If you just google it that's the number that pops up. And you have too many 0s


  2. Well, it is 6.022 x 10^23, but it should be 2^79 = 6.044 x 10^23 based on radioactive decay. The powers-that-be are too enamored with a chunk of metal in France to change, however.
