Availed Speaker to pick up the chance in the Next Meeting – Saturday 20th April 2013 Handicap

The 4 to 1 entry for the Class 5 Next Meeting – Saturday 20th April 2013 Handicap, Dolphin Rock, is one of the brightest prospects for the mile race today because the five-year-old bay gelding just struck a victory at Thirsk. Eighteen three-year-old
and above contestants will race over the good to soft surface on Tuesday, 18th
September.
Mark Of Esteem’s five-year-old bay gelding has raced ten times during the new season, twice at Thirsk. The only time the Brian Ellison trained landed a race was through the last try.
The bay gelding won the Adorn Hats Handicap on 8th September, 2012 at Thirsk over a mile. Entered as the favourite, the five-year-old was paired with jockey, Dale Swift.
Dolphin Rock chased the leaders at the initial stages of the race, and by the time the final furlong was on the horizon, he ran in and raced through the wire, winning the race by the mark of ¾ of a length.
Qualifying as the runner-up of the race was, Silver Rime.
Ninth stall in the field of eleven has now transformed to the third post with seventeen others contesting today.
A raging rival in the £3,235 contest is the three-year, Availed Speaker. The Irish chestnut gelding has not raced at Thirsk before, but has improved during the new season.
The Richard Fahey trained cracked into the new season with a failure, but then cleared accounts in the Enjoy The Punters Package Group Offer Handicap on 30th January, 2012 at Wolverhampton over a mile and1 ½ furlongs.
Until the final two furlongs of the race, Availed Speaker pursued the leader, and once inside the final furlong he switched left and ran on with determination, setting aside the favourite entry of the race, Angel Gabrial, by 1 ¼ lengths.
Two missed outings down the season had him entered in the Dine In The Horizons Restaurant Handicap on 23rd March, 2012 at Wolverhampton over a mile and 1 ½ furlongs.
The first time he won with jockey, Paul Hanagan and then credited the next success in partnership with, Tony Hamilton.
The 18 to 1 possibility of the race will race from the fourteenth stall and will become the mount for, Eireann Cagney.
