Avatars question!?

Whenever I try to make my avatar it says that there is an error. Why can't I make an avatar? Also, How do you put ur avatar on your pic thing. Whenever I answer a question I'm some grey head. Please help!

Start all over again from the beginning. Go through the entire process and if it doesn't work then it's not you, it's the Yahoo system that's not working. We get these glitches sometimes. Once my picture was missing for 5 days and I got disgusted with my Grey head. Your picture will come back eventually.
