  1. H10 13.4 will work better.  I have been using that and it never showed any problem.

  2. Try this web site @ Sporty's.com

  3. My personal opinion would be to save yourself some money and not buy the David Clarks.  I'm what you might call a cheap pilot, I won't spend $500-1000 on fancy ANR headsets, and as such I'm not up on what's the best high-end stuff.  However, for simplicity and reliability, the ASA HS-1 (with some $30 gel ear seals) is a wonderful headset, especially for training.  The headset costs between $140-200 (depending on where you buy it) and comes with a lifetime guarantee.  My father had a pair which he broke (dropped them or something) and ASA replaced them no charge.  Even when he said he broke them and that they didn't fail from workmanship, ASA said it was covered.

That said, if you want to spend the money, feel free.  There are some nice headsets out there, however I have heard a few people say that they've had bad luck with D.C.s.  You might want to a do a little research.

  4. The H10 13.4 is a great model that will probably last you forever. I don't recommend their ANR headsets. If you want a noise reduction headset, I might look at the Telex models, the new Lightspeed Zulu or the Bose. While pricey, the ANR is worth the money.

But for a passive set, the H10 13.4 is solid.
