Another person gave this answer to the average American's meat consumption per year:

64 pounds of beef

50 pounds of pork

57 pounds of chicken

14 pounds of turkey

Does it sound about right? I calculated my brothers consumption and it's about triple that! I've seen him eat an entire chicken by himself... But then again he's a 17 year old fat@ss

  1. That is 185 pounds of meat a year or about 1/2 pound per day.  That seems a bit high, but that is only two burgers or 4 chicken fingers I guess.  I would think more than half that would be unhealthy.  

    I eat less than 1/2 pound per week myself.

    Yes your brother's  consumption may be higher and some people's will be lower.. it's an average..

    between two people one vegetarian who eats zero meat and one an omni who eats 200, the average will be 100 even though one doesn't even eat it at all..
