Average IQ?

I am 13 yrs old, and I took an iq test, and found out i have an iq of 138. What is the average iq for my age?

Hemmmm... Not too smart a question from someone with an IQ of 138. Ironic isn't it?

100 is average, anything above is very good. But an  I.Q. test doesn't say how smart you are, it's shows how good you can take tests and how well you can learn.

100 may be the "average" but it's still pretty dumb. You must realize that the average is pulled down by certain elements in society that are probably not the same people you associate with on an every day basis.

I would say 115 -120 is "average" or normal.

Depending on which IQ test you took, the average is supposedly 100. Though the true average would be said to 'lie between 90 and 110', or something to that effect.

Bear in mind that if you took an online IQ test, you've wasted your time and it means nothing.

Generally speeching average IQ is always 100. This is the baseline for average intelligence. Recently, many people have stopped putting so much value on just an IQ test. Most scientist believe now that there are six different types of intelligence. Most IQ tests do not test all these areas equally though. Having said that getting 138 on an IQ test is well above average. It is safe to say you probably smart
