Average age for Yugioh Card Player?

Question

My friends and I stopped playing with YuGiOh! Cards about 3 years ago or so...and just recently I just got the knack to play it again. But everyone around here (NYC..around my neighberhood) would laugh at me if they ever saw me still play. I'm 16 by the way... And I was wondering.. what's the average age of a yugioh duelist?

i think it's 27......................................... i'm 15 n i'm a big time duelist love the game sins i was 7 that's 8 years of yugioh for me!! go back in the game you'll be fine even if they laph smart-mouth to them "i'de rether play this then wach teletubys with you guys!"

im 18 and have the cards but dont play.

its just not that fun anymore.

id sooner play magic.

but i know people in there 20's that still play yugioh so i wouldnt worry about it.

I'm 22 and i still play, I even enter card tourments. now i don't play at college cause i don't know that many people who like the game and most probably would make fun of me, but that doesn't bother me. i mostly play when i am at home with my old high school friends or my little brothers friends. and my little brother is 18 and his friends are around 16 - 18.

there's several groups of people, kids range from 4-10, and competetive minded players range from 15-35

i'm 17, and from philadelphia, and a competetive minded player  who heads team infamous playing on behalf of the garden of earthly delights in the northeast, and we have teams in staten island, rhode island, and we're working on teams in alabama and michigan. (all other teams are currently unsponsored)

they were made for like 8-11, any older than that it's unhealthy, they need to get out more... you should be like playing sports or hanging out with friends... it weird if your like even 12.....

there is never a right or wrong age.. most people i know are 25-35years old.. its a card game and very stratigic.. my grandfather who playes chess is intresting of learning the game but there is too much to learn.. there is no age..

age does not matter but winning is the matter so don't worry about playing when you are old

Firstly: parkkicks LOL.....

Secondly: you can pretty much play until you decide to stop regardless of age. I would say that people from 5 - 35 can play. I'm 17 in August and me and three of my friends still play. I've also got heaps of friends that know I play that do not themselves and they don't care.

ill be 15 in a month and i would also be ridiculed if my friends know, because I am a popular skater kid who everyone knows and is always with the cool kids and hot girls and stuff. I also started playing  again recently after quiting 5 years ago. I started playing again 3 weeks ago when I was sick and couldnt go out, so I watched the movie and was like this awesome why I stop so I dug out my cards and bought some new ones. I plan on playing tournaments in different cities so my friends dont find out. =]
