Question:

Average cost of a trailer?

what do you think the cost of a small trailer for lambs/ goats would be? an enclosed one. one that holds like ten or less goats. and one that a mini van could pull please. :D thanx for all help :D

  1. for a new one like 7000 to 10000 thats i yr getting a slant load if its a staight load like 1000 to 5000


  2. I haven't really heard of any trailers made for smaller animals, such as goats. Most people transport them in stock trailers ($3,000+) (like for cows).

         If they are minatures, you can transport them in a large dog kennel in the back seat (that is how we transport ours).

           Otherwise, you may have to get a regular trailer, and modify it by putting on a roof, but I am not sure how safe that is.

       Mini vans aren't supposed to pull trailers- you have to be careful if you don't want to ruin your axle or transmission. Check with a mechanic to make sure the weight load you want to pull won't be too much.

    EDIT: mini vans can definately not pull a stock trailer.
