Average cost to go to japan from tn?

Depends when you want to go, whether or not you book a special deal with an airline, or a vacation package. Different seasons have different prices. Plan for about $1,500-2,000 (out of Atlanta) and whatever it costs you to get to ATL.

The prices are changing all the time.  The cheapest is generally Northwest.  I checked about 6 months ago and it was around $1700 round trip from what I remember.  Not sure, but you would probably go through Detroit.
