Average expenses for an Edmonton local/Albertan/Canadian?

I am thinking of moving out. Can someone please tell me the approximate minimum cost of:

1. rent for a 1 bedroom apartment

2. water/electricity

3. insurance (in general)

...here in Edmonton? Thanks a bunch! :)

  1. Well, I'll go with estimates for you here.

    - 1 Bedroom Apartment ~ $900.00 (Usually includes Water & heat)

    - Power (Totally dependant on your usage ~ $40.00

    - (Tenant) Insurance $13.00 a month for $40,000 Coverage

    Prices vary depending on where you live in the city when it comes to renting, however most places are between $800-$1000 for a one bedroom apartment in Edmonton.  Boardwalk Equities pretty much controls the majority of rentals.

    We pay $13.00 a month for $45,000 worth of coverage for tenant insurance, which is more than enough for most individuals or young/small families.
