I need to figure out how much it would cost for a flight from Salem, Oregon to Los Angles, California. Not the cheapest seats but not 1st class. What do you think this would cost for one person? Round trip.

  1. It shouldn't be a lot a tall. I know that I went from Pasco, WA to Charlotte, SC (all the way across the US) for about 450.

So I'm guessing something like that would cost about 100-200 dollars.

I did, however, get those tickets way in advance (about 2 months) so it depends when you want to go.

  2. check on american airlines.com or n e other website, dont expect someone to do ir for u, its not that hard, just put in the cities, and it will tell u

  3. $283.50 1-way and $502.50 round trip through expedia.com.

  4. Try looking on a travel site, like expedia or travelosity.  Prices change all the time.  I suggest buying your ticket a month or 2 in advance as, more often than not, price skyrocket just days before the plane is to take off.  Also, it is usually cheaper to fly if you also book a hotel room and or car rental (they give deals to customers, it will cost more than just  a plane ticket, but you will save money in the long run).  Also, try different airports.  Some major airports are hubs for specific airlines,  so that airline will be the cheapest (for example, Dallas Fort Worth is a hub for American Airlines, so tickets are usually cheaper if you fly through here).  Sometimes, it will be cheaper if you have a connecting flight, even if it means you have to fly in the opposite direction first (for example, you may have to fly from Salem to San Fransisco, then on to LA).  Just be sure you look at every option.  And go ahead and get the cheapest seat.  If you are not in 1st class, the rest of the seats will be the same.
