  1. 5:45

  2. Average? Why do you want to be average? If you are trying to get better, you should look at the top times and see what you need to do to get there. You don't say where you live, or if you are a boy or girl, but if you live in the US, one good place to find information like this is in the results from USA Track & Field competitions. At the link below, you can see how youth your age did last year in regional and national junior olympics competitions. A 15 year old would be in the Intermediate division. Last year, intermediate girls competing at the national junior olympic meet ran the 1500m between about 4:33 and 5:30. The national record is 4:25.57. For boys, last year's competitors ran between 3:54.02 (a new national record) and about 4:40. You could compete at regional meets with times toward the slower end of those ranges. I hope that helps.

  3. Don't know. In the US they don't have the 1500 in high school track. It's the 1600m as far as I know. The 1500 is a college and professional event.
