  1. Carly:

I think all of this information is available on the Art Institute of Charlotte website, which is certainly the most reliable source for this type of data.

    Here's what I found:

If you hope to earn an Associate of Applied Science (the equivalent of a 2-year community college degree) in Culinary Arts, you will attend seven 11-week quarters, and pay $402 per credit hour. The school states that the total program cost for the entire program, including all fees (application, lab, etc) is $45,024. It looks like there is an additional "starting kit" cost of $1245. It's not clear if that is included in the $45,000 figure.

If you hope to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Culinary Arts Management, you will attend for twelve 11-week quarters, and continue to pay $404 per credit hour. With the additional credits, your Bachelor's degree total will be $75,576, and again, the additional mysterious $1245 "starting kit".

The school also offers an "Art of Cooking" Certificate program, 6 quarters of attendance for $21,708.

The school does not have on-campus housing, but they do offer nearby apartments, "just a few miles from campus", where you can "live in an environment with other students who share similar academic experiences and interests." There is a shuttle service that ferries students to school from Monday through Saturday. It does not appear that students are required to take advantage of this housing option.

For more info, visit the school's website at this address: http://www.artinstitutes.edu/charlotte/

I hope that helped you - good luck!
