I am thinking of going back to work, and my husband and I are trying to figure out the best child care option for us. I have 2 kids, 4 yr. old boy and a 1 yr. old girl. What would the average wage be for a non-live in nanny working full time (approx. 40 hr./week) in lincoln NE be?

  1. better pay 50 per hour

  2. maybe 30-40 dollars per hour because of you having 2 children

  3. 30-40 dollars per hour

  4. Nanny's make between $350 a week and $1000

May families offer benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation (one week for the nanny to take, and one week off when the family goes on vacation) Sick/personal days, and health insurance reimbursement, gym membership, school reimbursement...

Some families offer all of these, others off some.

One way to think about hiring is a nanny, is this is a job. A nanny wants the same benefits you enjoy from your job.
