Avg free antivirus?

i am using avg the free antivirus programme but it sees a lot of my programmes as spyware does any one know of another free antivirus i could use

Yes I agree with guys above. Avast is very much helpful. I've been using it for almost 2 years now. I registered and I downloaded and installed Avast Home Edition. So far I got no problems.

I agree,Avast is much better than AVG anyhow.Better detection rate and much easier to use.

The Free edition is fast becoming out of date. I just upgraded to AVG 8 (paid for). So far I've had no problems with it, and the software is really good.

I use Spyware Doctor and Trojan Killer 1.3. they seem to work fine, you just do occasional scan,s when you want to, and then delete the bad stuff. easy to use

I use avira--thats free and updates regular .

used avast but it slows down my computer. I didn't have with avira problems like yours but the big problem would be if avira will say the same thing - then there really is spyware in your computer
