Avi burning speedy way ?

i have a avi i want to burn to dvd i am using nero at the moment and it takes about a hour i have a dvd burner that can burn dvds at 20x any ideas on a more speedy method not a fan of nero

  3. I would imagine it's the converting and not the burning that is taking the time. I use convertxtodvd and converting and burning at 8x takes under an hour on my machine. It might be worth checking it out.

  4. That's about the time it will take if you are converting an AVI to DVD. If you just put the AVI on a DVD disk as data (IE left it as AVI) then your disk would burn in a few minutes, it's the conversion process that takes the time.

  8. i use "convertxtodvd".it takes approx 1½ hours to convert 4 films(from nearly every format) then approx 7 minutes to burn the 4 films with menu to a single dvd.

    a trial 30 day version is available(it puts a watermark on your dvd's though).
