BUT when i go into iphoto, all of my avi movies from my old kodak camera are showing up as having 0:00 time on them, and do not play, even when opened in quicktime. alternately, all my avi files from my new nikon camera play perfectly fine. help!! how do i get to watch my movies from my old camera in quicktime? why are they not showing as having any time on them? please help!!!

  1. AVI isn't a video format - it's a file format.  The content depends on the software used to write the file.  I know some Kodak cameras record the video in Quicktime, but I'm assuming yours isn't one of them.  You'll need to find out what the video format is and then either find a player that can handle it or convert them.
