Avidasports implements athletic telemetry system in Crimson Aquatics
– Swimming news
Avidasports is pleased to announce that it is going to install the unique athletic telemetry system for their swimming purpose at Blodgett Pool, in Harvard University, Crimson Aquatics, Michigan.
Swimmers and mentors have admired the instant impacts of the AvidaMetrics system. All of them asserted that the athletic telemetry device is an efficient technology that can help swimmers and coaches to get the instant feedback on their individual performances
during training sessions.
While speaking about the new development, head coach, Tim Murphy, of the Harvard Men and Crimson Aquatics said, “Avidasports has developed an amazing technology that will allow our coaching staff and athletes to obtain immediate feedback on their performance
during training.”
American open water swimmer, Alex Meyer, claimed that this technology has certainly provided them with a lot of positive responses from all sides. He further added, “I believe this product has the opportunity to take swimming to a whole new level. We will
use the system to enhance both our training and skill development of the athletes in our program. We are extremely excited to get started with the new technology."
Avidasports president, Bruce J. Burton, commented that their head swimming coach, Tim Murphy, is expecting the best from AvidaMetrics, as there is no denying that the Harvard Crimson Aquatics Corporation has offered them an elegant, creative and mind boggling
technology.
The president added that it is an exclusive programme, which has been efficiently determined by the hard work of the team involved in it. This is one of the main reasons why they would definitely feel themselves honoured to have such a unique and versatile
technology at Harvard University.
Mentors, Tim Murphy and Alex Meyer will represent the United States of America in the open water swimming competitions at the 2011 FINA World Championships, in Shanghai, China, this month.
Meanwhile, Meyer will continue to train his swimmers at Blodgett Pool alongside the Avidasports technology until 2012. AvidaMetrics will also prove as an influential technology for swimmers and coaches regarding their next year Olympic preparations, in London.
