Avira AntiVir question? ?

I recently installed Avira Antivir Classic Edition, and when I open up to Internet Explorer, their is like a 6 second delay to load. Is that normal? While I am on the web however, it is fast.

ya if you have a slower computer but have high speed internet. BTW this is the second question i answered for u today lol
