Avit On Bertha ready for a bold show in the Coral Supports The RGOA Maiden Marathon at Romford
Avit On Bertha’s recent efforts suggest that she is more than capable of sealing an emphatic win in the Coral Supports The RGOA Maiden Marathon, is set to take place at Romford on Friday night. The white and black b***h ran superbly in her last two outings, but remained unlucky on both occasions.
S. Cahill’s trainee came to this track after performing outstandingly at Hove. Her good work prompted the connections to try their luck at the open level. The b***h did not let her supporters down, and demonstrated an impressive show at the end of last month.
She displayed a splendid performance, but failed to add the finishing touch. As a result, she missed the top spot by a head’s distance. The daughter of Droopys Vieri was awful last Friday, when she got bumped early and, from then on it was almost impossible for her to recover and as a result, she ended up fourth behind, Westmead Jules.
Today’s line-up is slightly weaker than the one on last Friday and therefore, Avit On Bertha can easily be termed as favourite. She just needs a clean ride to establish her supremacy in the marathon.
Other runners in the 750 metres meeting are: Millstreet Scar, Romeo Explosion, Cals Broker, Swift Robinson, and Wednesdaywhacker. The £200 event is scheduled to get underway at 22:40 GMT.
Cals Broker is stepping up in trip and also in class. So, there will be plenty of pressure on the black and white dog, trained by R. Griffin. It will not be a good move to rely on Wednesdaywhacker, who lacks course knowledge. It is also his debut appearance over this distance.
Romeo Explosion had plenty of chances to score in his last two trips, but failed terribly. We expect his lean patch to stretch tonight. Swift Robinson will have to step up on the recent efforts. Millstreet Scar ran well on marathon bow last time. So, he has major claims in today’s big meeting.
Our calculations suggest that the real battle will be between Avit On Bertha and Millstreet Scar. The former of the two is slightly more experienced over this distance, and gets our vote. Good luck to all the runners.
