Avoid points being assessed to my drivers license??!?!?

Hi there everyone,

I live in Tempe ,Arizona.

I ran a red light and got into an accident.( got confused with the signal...not because i didnt see it) I have a Virginia drivers license.

The cop told me points would be assessed to my drivers license. Can AZ MVD really take points off my VA drivers license?

Do you think a Lawyer/Attorney can help?

Please let me know and please help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ve never been in a situation like this. Plzz plzz help....im scared !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, points will be assessed to your Virginia drivers license.  Virginia DMV assigns points the same whether the violation occurs in Virginia or not.  BTW, Virginia is the second worst state to have a drivers license in, only North Carolina is worse than Virginia.
