Avon Or Mary Kay?( for cosmetics)

what one has better cosmetics in your opinion, and why?

I haven't used much mary kay but I love avon, plus its a lot cheaper. I have heard people complain that the mary kay lipstick is like wax. I've used eyeshadow for both and one wasn't better than the other, but the avon was much cheaper

I have used both and now I am a Mary Kay rep. Mary Kay foundation colors are a lot easier to match than Avon. I never had good luck with Avon foundation. Also,Mary Kay recently launched new mineral make up colors and they are beautiful. You can see them on the Mary Kay website. Good luck.

Jash83 took the words out of my mouth! Marykay, in my opinion is better quality, but there isnt as much selection as avon. They r both good, but for foundation, I would go for the good stuff, Marykay. Eyeshadows and liners u can buy in Avon.

Personally for me it has been worth while. I am able to make $250 every 2 weeks in addition to my full time income.

even thought i'm not a huge fan of either, i'd go with avon. i've love makeup and since both are relatively cheap i've tried them both. and i know that a lot of folks say that mary kay is better quality but i just can't agree with that. they're both quite the same to me. the reason i say avon, though, is that they have a much wider selection. they even have a other brand, mark, that has some more trendy fashions than the regular avon book.
