Avonside Marley all set to achieve victory in the Grade A4 Martin Greaves 50th Birthday Celebration Stakes
The Grade A4 Martin Greaves 50th Birthday Celebration Stakes will take place at Hall Green on 25th February, 2012. The race covers a distance of 480 metres and holds a purse of £92.
The 6 contenders racing in this race are:
Garys King,
Ballyridgedelite,
Avonside Marley,
Terrydrum Alexis,
Droopys Kitty, and
Mohican Bonzo.

Garys King, son of Top Savings, out of Munsboro Lucky, has been in good form. His trainer, B. Hall, is pleased with his previous performance and is hoping he will continue the good performance.
He finished 1st at the Grade A5 480M Flat race, held at Hall Green, on 15th February, 2012, where he defeated Heavenly May by a head in 29.38 seconds.
Ballyridgedelite, daughter of Head Bound, out of Annies Delight, has not been performing well. She finished her last two races in 5th place. Her trainer, G. Ballentine, is hoping that she will break out of this consistency and
move to different ranks.
She finished in 5th in the Grade A3 480M Flat race, which took place at Hall Green, on 3rd February, 2012.
She finished in the same place, at the same venue, in the Grade A3 Flopsy Bunny Stakes, held on 11th February, 2012.
Avonside Marley, son of Si Senor, out of Theres Georgy, has shown improvement in his recent performance.
His trainer, C. Andrews, is pleased with his good form and consistent performance.
He finished in 1st place, in the Grade A5 Andy-Tash 21st & 18th Birthday Celebration Stakes, at Hall Green, on 10th February, 2012. He defeated Flower Kewell by 2 lengths.
He finished as a runner-up in his most recent race, in the Grade A4 480M Flat, at Hall Green, on 15th February, 2012. He was defeated by Jobys Premier by 1 ¼ lengths.
Terrydrum Alexis, daughter of Top Savings, out of Aranock Val, finished a runner-up in his last two races. Her trainer, S. Deakin, is hopeful that she will bring her best game forward in this game.
She was defeated by Avonside Winliz, by ½ lengths, at Hall Green, on 3rd February, 2012.
She was defeated by Swift Giggs by a short-head, at the same venue, in the Grade A5 480M Flat race, on 17th February, 2012.
Droopys Kitty, daughter of Westmead Hawk, out of Droopys Rena, finished as a runner-up in her last race.
She was defeated by Supreme Jive by 1 ¾ length, in the Grade Hp 645M Flat race,  at Hall Green, on 17th February, 2012.
Mohican Bonzo, son of Droopys Kewell, out of Madabout Blacky, finished 1st in his previous race.
Trained by N. McDonald, the hound emerged as the victor, in the Grade A5 480M Flat race, on 20th February, 2012, at Hall Green. He defeated Sunnycroft Mini by ½ length, in 29.62 seconds.
With the race line-up full of hounds that have the potential to cross the wire first, it is difficult to make a prediction. Based on the odds, it looks like Avonside Marley, will lead the race. He enjoys the status of being race favourite, with winning odds
of  9 to 4.
The second place is likely to be acquired by Droopys Kitty and the third place will probably be secured by Mohican Bonzo.
