that did not happen and as a result, KRL is now holding the top-spot. On the other hand, PTV has not done that well in the current season although it is full of talented youngsters who should have done better in the First-class arena.
At the Marghazar Cricket Ground Islamabad, State Bank won the toss and decided to field first on a flat track. The decision turned out to be a wrong one as PTV piled up a huge score of 426 runs in its 1st innings. The star of the show for PTV

sixes. Left arm spinner, Yaseem Murtaza showed his skills with the bat and scored 75 runs off 101 balls which included 10 fours and a six.

In reply, State Bank also batted well but it missed a huge innings like Awais Zia’s in the 1st innings of PTV. State Bank scored 320 runs in its 1st innings and as a result conceded a 1st innings lead of 106 runs to PTV.

At one stage, PTV was in trouble in the 2nd innings with 5 wickets down for only 61 runs but Umair Khan and Naeem Anjum rescued PTV’s position from that stage with a brilliant partnership of 123 runs under pressure. As a result of this partnership,
PTV managed to score 215 runs in the 2nd innings. Umair Khan completed his century and scored 106 runs off 181 balls with the help of 13 fours. http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Naeem-Anjum-c78462 scored 51 runs off 104 balls in which he struck 6 boundaries.

State Bank was given a target of 322 which was not probable on the last day and it was just a matter of survival for them. At one stage, State Bank was in trouble with 7 wickets down for only 99 runs but because of great resistance shown by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Adnan-Raees-c42061 and
Rizwan Akbar, State Bank was able to save the match. State Bank was at 138 for the loss of 7 wickets when play was called off without a result. Adnan Raees remained unbeaten on 40 runs.
