Whats it like? Is there much night life?

Friendly people, the bars and clubs are good.   Not much else to do though.   Lots of churches.Have a nice time.

If you want night life..we've got plenty. Paceville area ( next to St. Julian's) is packed with clubs, bars and restaurants and they are open everyday till the early hours in summer. There are two big open air clubs which are very popular with the locals. One is 'Gianpula' situated in the l/o Rabat - it is open every Friday night till late. On Saturdays you can go to 'Numero Uno' situated in Ta Qali. They both play commercial music. However the latter is also open on Sundays where house music is played. everything starts around 11pm. apart from that, you will find wine bars ( very popular with the locals) and restaurants practically everywhere.
