Awesome Feather is in perfect form and ready for another victory in the Breeders’ Cup
Unraced since January, 2012, Awesome Feather is in form and continues to train to enhance her speed and stamina. With nine consecutive victories, there is nothing standing in the way of the four-year-old filly from achieving further success.
Currently, she has earnings of $1,861,746 and she aims to keep on increasing them with more success.
Trainer Chad Brown has big dreams for his charge and is hoping that she will earn a spot in the prestigious Breeders’ Cup, which will be hosted at Santa Anita in November, 2012.
With her outstanding record, Awesome Feather is favourite to win whatever race she is pointed toward. Regarding this, Brown told the press that:
"Awesome Feather is doing really well; she couldn't possibly be doing any better."
The renowned trainer further added:
"I think we'll probably get one race in before the Breeders' Cup, but I don't know where."
The daughter of Awesome of Course has two Grade 1 victories to her name including the Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies at Churchill Downs in November, 2010.

After this grand event, she sustained an injury to her front left tendon which delayed her return as a sophomore.
She competed in only two starts in 2011, and one of which was the Grade 1 Gazelle Handicap at Aqueduct in November, 2011.
After the Stronach Stables owned runner won the Sunshine Millions Distaff at Gulfstream Park in her seasonal debut this year, she has not returned to the track since.  The trainer stated that he wants to take all sorts of necessary precautions with
this runner.
If unprepared, the filly’s perfect record would be tainted and that would be a huge disappointment, the trainer said:
“She's in a unique situation," Brown commented. "You have a horse that's undefeated, and you hate to put her in a situation where's she would be vulnerable and put a blemish on her record.”
The handler wants to take his time and find a race that would best for the filly to start off after a lengthy layoff.

In her most recent work-out, held on 8th August, 2012, she completed the distance of four furlongs in 50.65 seconds. On 25th July, 2012, she completed the same distance, much faster in 48.00 seconds.
