Awhile back i had a virus and i got rid of it but i cant change my background under properties?

I know i can just get an image of google for my background but i want to use one of the default ones

and i can't change my screensaver

the virus was the one where the bugs eat the screen

Enable Screensaver

That should allow you to reverse the effects of the virus on your computer.
