Awkward situation....?

I've got three questions in one..... I REALLY like my best friend. I made a list of the perfect guy when i was younger, n he fits it all n then some. We've been friends forever though, so I'm afraid it'll ruin our friendship if I say something. He lives in another state, so none of my friends have ever met him, and I just recently started talking about him, so they don't believe he exists, even though I've showed them pics n stuff, so they're no help. The ones that DO think he's real are scared of him cause he's like hardcore scene/punk. He's really sweet though and makes himself look and act like a prep around my n family n stuff cos he knows what ppl think of him n he doesn't want my friends to think less of me b/c of who he is. So I guess my question is, should I tell him how much I like him, n what should I do about my friends? How should i tell him I like him?

He sounds like a great friend! It's a tricky situation, but if you really like him it's going to get in the way of your friendship even if you don't tell him. So you should definitely tell him!

As for your friends, it's YOUR life, you can take their opinions into consideration, but the decision is yours in the end. Your real friends will support you, because he makes you happy, regardless of how he looks! Tell them to stop being shallow.

As for how to tell him, show him the list, and just say it!
