reading some of these questions, you'd think that us White folks are the most oppressed people in the whole world.

hey, fellow white people, we've had it pretty good since the beginning of time...

Can we be gracious and glad that many more immigrants and minorities are going to enter the next generation on a more level playing field?

  1. Spoken like a true guilty white Liberal..

  2. Aww poor white ppl

    lol

  3. I agree. I think it is screamingly HILARIOUS to read some of these posters whining about..... *gasp*  BLACK PEOPLE HAVING THEIR OWN TELEVISION CHANNEL!!

    Horrors!!

And the moaning and wailing about......*GASP* black people having THEIR OWN HISTORY MONTH!!!!

    Oh my!

    It's so d**n funny.

Is it really possible to have bred such one-dimensional people? Clearly incapable of understanding slavery? And where black people came from or went through? And most importantly - that we're not talking about if a person themselves was a slave, or whether or not the white person was actually a slave owner.

Some people are apparently incapable of comprehending the concept of building upon those that came before you.  All of science is based on previous discoveries of generations gone by. So is all of civilization. "Standing on the shoulders of giants."

White people really need to understand that black people were snatched away from their homes 400 years ago - and held down until actually as recently as 1964. Blacks were only given the vote in 1964, you know. How far would YOU have come if you'd become "legal" only 44 years ago?

Whereas *WE* have been accumulating wealth and knowledge and experience for....how long now? Hundreds of years?

    It's not rocket science, guys.

The life you are enjoying today was built upon the work of hundreds of thousands of grandparents and great-grandparents and great-great-grandparents who came before you. That is the DEFINITION of "culture."

  4. Since I haven't been here since the beginning of time, no I haven't.  I'm glad the playing field is leveled, a bit but lets make sure it doesn't tip to far the other way..

  5. Working people of all colors have taken it in the shorts for far too long.  What do we want?  Decent wages and decent social benefits.  We want a well financed social and physical infastructure.  We want out military to be only large enough to defend the US and it's real interests and no larger.  All the wealth in the world is generated by those that tote the barges and lift the bales.  We are not sheep to be sheared.  We want our share and we want our share to be a fairly large piece of the pie.  We want 'our' government to defend our rights, be totally transparent and careful with the public nickle.  The Bush Junta has failed to promote any of the above and the same people will be pulling old man McCain's strings should the GOP manage to steal another election.  Don't be divided...don't be conqered and for God's sake don't vote for any republicans until they learn to behave!

  6. We've had it good because we worked hard to make it good. Every penny in my family's history was earned honestly.

  7. Are there any of those white devils left in Zimbabwe?

  8. Ha!

    none will concede to that.....

  9. Ya know what is going on right? Some white people are HORRIFIED of getting knocked out of their top dog position if Obama is elected president.

They have this paranoid delusion that black people will rise up and have power... its the age old thing... everyone has to have someone to look down on.

If a black man is in power, they think that they are the underdog.

If some white people can't complain about "the lazy blacks" or "the black drug dealers" they don't feel superior.

So they take the victim road. That is what is happening and it is pathetic.

  10. Guess they need to work harder.

  11. That's all good and well if absolutley NOTHING changed since the time that our grandparents came to America.  I'm not saying we shouldn't offer the same opportunities, but it's a different time, man.  There are 230 million more people in America than there was in 1900, industry has changed, the economy has changed, globalization was never a thought back then and we now have to worry about whether or not people are coming here for the opportunity, or for something more sinister.

Altruism can be a dangerous thing.

  12. All the white people in my town are being laid off from their jobs.  There are no jobs to work harder at.

  13. nope
