Question:

Axis and Allies IAAPA question PLEASE LOOK?

i was reading about it and didnt quite understand it- it says when you play someone on-line you make one move a day!! why only one?? And do you each have a board set up and move accordingly to waht your oppenent says to and move yours how you want to- ANYTHING about it would be appreciated

  1. Every game has three people involved.  Two are players obviously.  The third person is monitoring the game and providing the "dice rolls" for all of the moves.

    After you decide who will play the Axis and who will play the Allies you take turns by sending an email to the "ref" and your opponent.  Then they both acknowledge all of the moves and directions given by you.

    The Referee "rolls" the dice and sends the results to both players who then have to track the outcome of all moves (battles) and acknowledge back to the "ref."

    All that takes time.

    Back when I used to play there were a few players who could get a couple of moves a day in.  On the other end of the scale some players would leave you hanging for a few days or even a week!  It got real old.  That's why I stopped playing.

    It looks like they are setting a goal of a move a day to keep things moving at a sustainable pace.
