Axminster to axe out the competitors in the Grade A2 Owners Bonus Series – Heat 2 at Sittingbourne
The Grade A2 Owners Bonus Series – Heat 2 will take place at Sittingbourne on 24th March, 2012 over 480 metres for £73. Volcanic Dust, Verdun Rosie, When Your Up, Hollyoak Ohiyes, Alloverforme and Axminster will compete in this race, creating
a sense of enthusiasm among the fans and bookies.
Axminster is the favourite for this race and will be entering with odds of 6 to 4. Trained by J. Coleman, the hound has raced for most his career at Sittingbourne but ran some races at Crayford. The black hound is familiar with this track, a fact which will

His victory continued onto the next race that he entered with odds of 3 to 1, the Grade A3 480m flat race at Sittingbourne on 3rd March, 2012 where he defeated Karma Flash by 2 ¼ lengths in 29.49 seconds.
He finished first in dead heat with Hedsor Caspian in the Grade A2 480m flat race at Sittingbourne on 18th March, 2012, the race which completed his hat-trick. Based on these performances, things are looking up in his favour.
Trained by R. Brain, Verdun Rosie will be entering this race with odds of 3 to 1. The daughter of Black Shaw, out of Keanes Pride, has secured two first place finishes in a row, a third one in this race will complete her hat-trick.
She emerged triumphant from the Grade A3 480m flat at Sittingbourne on 11th March, 2012 as she defeated Lughill Aron by ½ length in 29.78 seconds.
Her next victory took place at the same venue in the Grade A3 Tonight’s Hit Or Bust Jackpot Race on 17th March where she succeeded over Polish Coal by a slightly wider distance of 3 lengths in 29.49 seconds.
If luck is one her side, her third win be materialized in this race.
When Your Up’s first place finish puts him in a good place in this race. G. Andreas expects him to repeat the same performance which he demonstrated in the Grade A3 480m flat race on 8th March, 2012 where he entered with odds of 3 to 1 and defeated
Hollyoak Scarlet by 1 ¼ of a length.
Axminster’s hat-trick are the basis for his market popularity in this race but he may be challenged by Verdun Rosie whereas When Your Up may be looking at a close finish in third.
