Ayamzaman to sweep the Ladbrokes.Com Pall Mall Stakes Heat 2 at Oxford
The fiercest among the candidates for the Ladbrokes.Com Pall Mall Stakes Heat 2 is Ayamzaman. The race will be held at Oxford over 450 metres flat on Thursday, 7th June. The rest of the contestants include Smart Bid, Hazy Purty, Rockchase Jack, Lenson Johnny and Castlebride Dan.
The two-year-old proved himself right at the beginning of the season by stretching the victory in the seasonal debut to four more races and thus taking it to a total of five wins in a row.
Droopys Scolari’s black and white son won the Coral On TV Puppy Trophy – Heat 1 on 9th January at Romford over 400 metres. The 2/7 favourite of the race reached the other end of the wire in 23.93 seconds and led the runner up of the race, Mullpark Marlis, by 5 ¼ lengths.
His almost legendary streak came to a halt on 24th February as he finished second in a 400 metres race at Romford. Even after two training sessions, Ayamzaman lost the next race to a miserable sixth position on 23rd March at Romford.
After losing the two races that followed, the two-year-old won a 225 metres race at Romford on 8th May by timing the track distance in 13.49 seconds and led the runner up of the race, Rockburst Lenny, by 3 ¾ lengths.
His streak of four races in a row took off on 14th May in the Coral On TV Standard Trophy – Heat 3 at Romford over 400 metres. The 11/10 favourite found his way beyond the wire in 24.07 seconds. He had the final five and a half lengths under his charge.
He then dominated the Coral On TV Standard Trophy Final on 18th May at Romford over 400 metres. The 5/4 joint favourite was done racing in 24.37 seconds and led by 3 ¼ lengths.
On 24th May he took 26.82 seconds to settle a 450 metres race at Oxford and led by an amazing twelve lengths.
His most recent victory post came through the Text Dogs To 60006 Trophy at Romford on 1st June over 400 metres. It took him 23.88 seconds to decide the fate if the race.
He will need to look out for Hazy Purty who has swung back into form by claiming the most recent attempt.
