Azhar Ali, the young Pakistani batsman, is ready to take on India in the limited-overs series, which is scheduled for later this year and expressed that he wants to score at least seven thousand runs in his Test career.

"I think I am in form to score runs against any team. Playing against India is always testing because of the added pressure, but for me it's more about scoring runs no matter who the opposition is," said Azhar. "There are always high feelings when you perform
against India. It will be an important time for me and I am ready to face their bowlers."
The stylish batsman wants to carry on with his exceptional form in the longer version of the sport and wants to be ranked among the top batsmen of the global arena.
"My short-term target is to be ranked as a top Test batsman as soon as possible, and in the long run I would like to score at least 7000 runs in Test cricket," he added.
