Pakistan’s top order batsman, Azhar Ali has admitted that he was worried not to have scored a hundred even after so many half-centuries in Test cricket and said that now he is a relieved man after scoring his maiden ton against Sri Lanka in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/United-Arab-Emirates-c3033.
The right handed batsman from Lahore made his Test debut in the controversial tour of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746. Since then, Azhar has cemented his place in the Test team
and has been doing exceedingly well in the longer version of the sport.
However, the batsman from Lahore has so far been considered as a Test specialist and has only played one 50-over match against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ireland-c751 earlier this year.

his critics in style by scoring a ton in the second Test at Dubai against the Islanders.
Azhar was under pressure but said that it felt out of this world after completing the hundred. He further expressed that his confidence level has jumped up some levels after reaching this milestone.
He said, "It was a great feeling and a relief. It was very satisfying to score my first international century, especially after the number of times I had crossed the half century mark. There was a lot of talk about the lack of a century and it was starting
to play on my mind a little and some were starting to doubt whether I had the capability to score a century in international cricket."
The right hander added that he has been unlucky in past but now he vows to reach big scores on consistent basis.
"I had gone close to three figures on a few occasions previously but either due to a good delivery or a mistake from myself I had missed out”, he added.
