Azzurri are scared of us – Serbian Winger Milos Krasic
Serbia winger has come out in the press ahead of Serbia’s match against Azzurri with a lot of confidence. The Juventus ace believes that Italy is in for a rough time when the two sides meet on 12th October. The Azzurri and Serbia are set to face
each other on Tuesday in the fourth round of qualifying matches for EURO Qualifying Group C.
“The Italians know we are a very good side and I think they are scared of us,” roared Krasic
Krasic’s transfer was one of the most anticipated moves during this summer as Juventus and Spartak Moscow played hardball on the negotiation tables. CSKA signed Krasic as a 19-year-old in 1999 and the winger had been with the Armeytsy Moskvy ever since.
Following weeks of negotiations, Juventus finally signed their man for a reported 15 million Euros.
Krasic will be one of the players to watch out for during the match as the player has settled down seamlessly into Calcio. Krasic has scored 3 goals and a handful of assists in just 6 league appearances. Indeed, Krasic has been Bianconeri’s best player so
far this season. Krasic seems to agree with such an analysis, “I am really happy with my form and I am ready to play an important role for my country. I think the most important thing is physical fitness, we are all feeling really good physically and that
is the reason I am so optimistic about my chances. There is nothing for us to be sacred about and I think we will do well.”
Krasic has fired a warning shot at the Azzurri camp as Prandelli’s man is still searching for the perfect combination. The Italians were humiliated at the 2010 World Cup under Lippi and the football crazy nation is looking for amends from the new look Azzurri
squad. Serbia and Northern Ireland are the two tricky opponents and the Azzurri has historically struggled against both the oppositions.
