We are going to the convention center in November for an event. Was wondering what nice B&B's are near there?

  1. There aren't any Bed and Breakfasts directly around the convention center, that I know of. The area is quite commercial. Most of the bed and breakfasts in the city are in Dupont/Georgetown/Upper Northwest, further away from the convention center.

Update: There is a bed and breakfast not far from the convention center, the DC GuestHouse ( http://www.dcguesthouse.com/Welcome.htm ). The only issue is that the area around the convention center is not the best. It's certainly improving, but it's not the type of area where you'd just want to go for a stroll. If you're just looking for a place to stay that's close by the convention center, this would probably be your best bet.

If you're willing to take Metro, there are many B&Bs in the Dupont Circle neighborhood, which is very safe and very walkable (many stores, restaurants, etc.). The Dupont at the Circle ( http://www.dupontatthecircle.com/ ) and The Inn at Dupont Circle ( http://www.thedupontcollection.com/ ) are both nice and very close to the Dupont Circle station .

Bed and Breakfasts Online ( http://www.bbonline.com/dc/washington.ht... ) lists other options as well in case you want to keep searching.
