  1. No tryouts at your old school? That's pretty sweet. Well during try outs you will most likely do a lot of conditioning to get you into shape for the season (if you make it). You will run some drills and have some scrimmages, such as 1-on-1, 2-on-2, 3-on-3, 4-on-4, and 5-on-5. The fastest way to learn how to dribble is to practice dribbling and sprinting because if you can learn how to dribble and sprint under control at the same time, then you will be able to dribble while not sprinting. Also, you won't have to dribble that much at the forward and center positions, only in the post most of the time. Hope i helped!

  2. not sure wat they do cause my school is pretty small, but on the dribbling. u need to work on ball control to get better at dribbling. crossovers, between the legs, behind the back. try some two ball dribbling. stand still, walk up and down the court, one ball dribbled high one ball dribbled low. or u could start high then go close to the floor and dribble the ball as close to the ground as u can while still keeping it bouncing. u could also hand the ball around ur head, waste, knees.then do it around one leg, then the other. and try to keep ur head up so u can see the court. keep the ball on ur finger tips. don't palm it. it takes practice. footwork is also good, jumpropes, ladders, dots.ask the coach to,they will help.good luck and i hope u make the team.

  3. at try outs..you like do drills..run and stuff..the coaches see what you got in you..if you don't pass the try outs..you don't get on the team..
