B-day gifts for my boyfriend?

Ok he is in the army & stationed in el paso..and i had an idea for a birth present but i want a guy point of view before i do it.

Okk..buying a picture frame from things remembered and recording a lil sweet saying&gettin something engraved on w/ one of our pics in it..so every time he is missing me he could just hit play & here my voice.

Yes..No?? Sweet or too corny for a guy??
