I bought a store brand name of B12 because I heard vegetarians don't get enough of B12. It was $3.99 and one tablet contains 16667% RDA of B12. 16,667%?? So I can smash one pill into 100 pieces and get more than 100% of what I need per day from each piece? Obviously that would be ludicrous... How do you know when you're deficient on B12? I'm fairly clear headed, I'm not constipated.. I feel fine.. B12 deficiency scares the heck out of me.. If you don't get enough, you'll cause *permanent* neurological damage.. Should I take a pill each day to be on the safe side? Should I go to a doctor every month to make sure my B12 is up to snuff?
