B60 special edition clear water surge last couple...

Question

Got the B60 Special. Ed. 1 month ago. Made good coffee (extra bold)
till now except could be hotter. But all of a sudden it now produces a clear water surge for the last 1-2 ounces. The coffee is so weak
it is not drinkable. I measured the med size with no k-cup and
it is 8oz. I am wondering if the water pump or whatever
monitors the water pressure could be failing.
