BA in Journalism...would I be able to...?

Question

This is gunna sound a bit silly, but it's something I've always wanted to do...I am only a freshman in college, but I'm pretty sure I'm gunna stick to journalism as my major, and I am also choosing history as my minor.

I wanted to know that if I wanted to work behind the scenes at CNN someday, would I have to have a major in broadcasting instead? or could I still do it with a journalism major?

I know that it contributes to experience...so getting an internship at a local news station would help me too am I right?

Journalism is a great start to many careers. Go for it.
